Does Tufts offer interviews? A personal interview is not a required element of Tufts undergraduate admissions process, though first-year applicants may request an optional evaluative interview.
You can choose the pass/fail option by completing a Pass/Fail form by deadline noted on the academic calendar. Forms are not accepted after the deadline to declare or revoke a submission.
Does Tufts conduct interviews? We do offer interviews for applicants. These are optional interviews and they can be requested only after a student applies to Tufts. You may request an interview by logging in to your Applicant Status Page and checking the box for an interview.
The faculty holds that a student enrolled in any program leading to a liberal arts degree must demonstrate a reasonable acquaintance with each of the following five areas of inquiry: the humanities, the arts, the social sciences, the natural sciences, and the mathematical sciences.
A personal interview is an important part of the admissions process for the Tufts MSTP Program. The program sponsors about five interview days during each admissions cycle; about 60 to 70 applicants are interviewed each year.
