Minimum Grade-Point Average To be eligible for graduation, students must achieve a combined cumulative, SF State, and major GPA of 2.0 or better. The grade point average is calculated by dividing grade points by GPA units. CR and NC grades are not included in the calculation of grade point average.

During Spring/Fall priority registration, the maximum number of units in which full-time undergraduate students can enroll is 16 units. During open registration, the unit limit is raised to 19 units. Undergraduate students who wish to register for more units must petition.
