Transfer applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for admissions: Minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.0. Supporting documents (transcripts, test scores, personal statement, etc. varies by major program).
LSSU recommends students follow a college preparatory curriculum mirroring the Michigan Merit Curriculum. The middle 50 percent of the entering freshmen class have high school GPAs ranging from 2.80 to 3.70. Students with a high school GPA of 2.0 or less will be reviewed through our holistic review process.
All two-year programs at all campuses require a 2.0 minimum GPA. Some programs have a higher GPA requirement than the minimum required GPA listed by campus. Please refer to the majors listing to see if there are any other requirements for your chosen program.
