Each B.C. resident enrolled with the Medical Services Plan (MSP) is eligible for a BC Services Card with a unique lifetime identifier for health care called a Personal Health Number. This number remains the same, regardless of any changes to personal status.
As of Jan. 1, 2020, MSP premiums will be eliminated; however, the health fee for international students will continue to be chargedmaintaining the monthly fee at $75 per month for both minors and adults.
You can sign up for PAD if the organization you want to pay offers this option. You should contact them. To get started, youll complete a PAD agreement with the organization, also known as the biller, you want to pay. Agreements can be on paper or electronic (online or by telephone, for example).
Each B.C. resident enrolled in MSP is given a unique lifetime identifier for health care called a Personal Health Number (PHN). Your PHN remains the same, regardless of any changes to personal status, and can be found on the back of your BC Services Card or the front of your CareCard.
