If youre not sure if you have a TreasuryDirect account, or you dont see securities in your account, you can call our Customer Service at (844) 284-2676 for help locating your bonds. You are possibly the secondary owner of electronic securities or have paper bonds.
Use TreasuryHunt.gov to find matured savings bonds that have stopped earning interest. You can also learn how to replace a lost or destroyed savings bond. Use the U.S. Courts Unclaimed Funds Locator to search for money you may be owed after a person or business declared bankruptcy.
But, when Fiscal Service levies a payment, it generally will send a notice to the debtor/payee at the time of the levy. If you believe you owe a federal tax debt, you may contact the IRS at 800-829-1040 to learn more.
