The Stronger Connections Grant Program recognizes the importance of collaboration and partnerships in fostering a safe school environment. It encourages schools to establish and strengthen partnerships with law enforcement agencies, mental health organizations, community leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
STRONGER CONNECTIONS GRANT IS FUNDED THROUGH TITLE IV, PART A OF THE ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT OF 1965 (ESEA) FOR STATE EDUCATIONAL AGENCIES (SEAS) TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH SAFER AND HEALTHIER LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS.
The purpose of the Stronger Connections Grant is to establish and support safer and healthier learning environments in school communities and Local Education Agencies (LEA) with demonstrated need.
This grant will support grantees using funds to build relationships between students and educators, and other adults who serve students, in ways that help students feel less isolated and more connected to their school, improving their overall health and well-being.
