Every year, thousands of families send letters to Santa at the North Pole. The USPS Operation Santa program makes it possible for people to adopt and respond to these letters, fulfilling the holiday wishes of children and families across the country.
Contain a valid return address including apartment number in the letter or on the envelope. Include the writers first and last names. Last names will not appear on the website. Be addressed to 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888.
The regular or business-size envelope must have a First-Class Mail postage stamp to travel through the Postal Service processing systems. The envelope needs to be addressed to: SANTA CLAUS, 123 ELF ROAD, NORTH POLE 88888. Letters received without last names and correct return addresses cannot be uploaded.
A letter simply addressed to Santa, North Pole will not go to the postmaster in Anchorage, Alaska. It will end up in a default area for mail without a complete address and then be sorted back into the Operation Santa program, where a postal worker or member of the public can respond.
Call Santa at home in the North Pole. Santas personal phone number is 605-313-0691, brought to you by Free Conference Call, a conferencing service that also takes messages for the man in red. Kids will hear the following outgoing message and a prompt to verbalize their Christmas wish lists: Merry Christmas!
