Recreational opportunities include fishing, boating, diving, snorkeling, paddling, hiking, camping, wildlife watching, cultural exploration, and the opportunity to experience the northernmost Florida Keys.
The park consists of four primary ecosystems: A fringe of mangrove forest along the mainland shoreline. The southern expanse of Biscayne Bay. The northernmost Florida Keys. The northernmost portion of Floridas Coral Reef, the third largest coral reef in the world.
Biscayne National Park is 95% underwater and 100% worth preserving, protecting and restoring.
