Yes. A student may only complete two out-of-district transfers per school year. This limit does not include re-enrolling in your district of residence. Additionally, students in foster care many complete any number of transfers in a given school year and are not subject to the two-transfer limit.
Starting December 6, 2023, all students enrolling in an accredited private school can apply for a refundable income tax credit. The credit will cover $5,000-$7,500 of private school tuition costs, with families earning less than $150,000 receiving first priority.
Taxpayers must confirm their eligibility and apply for the program at the new website, .parentalchoice.ok.gov, by submitting an Enrollment Verification Form for each student. Non-guardian applicants also will need to submit a completed Parental Consent Form, which is available on the program website.
