How to request your official transcripts. Most colleges allow you to order copies of transcripts online, by mail, or in person via the office of admissions or registrars office. Youll complete a transcript request form, pay a small fee, and may have to provide proof of identification.

What is an official transcripts?

Official transcripts are a requirement for most documents issued by the Commission. In order for transcripts to be considered official they must be: Printed on security paper directly and/or displaying an official raised seal from the college or university, per the institutions standard practice.

What is shown on an official transcript?

It includes your enrollment history, grades that you got, credits earned and attempted and average of grade-point. The classes would be arranged in chronological format by the enrollment semester or the quarter. The grade-point average may be given individually for each quarter, but total cumulative average is given.

What is considered an official transcript?

An official transcript is one that has been received directly from the institution that conferred the students undergraduate degree. Official transcripts are printed on official transcript paper. It must bear the college seal, date and the Registrars signature.

What is the difference between an official transcript and an unofficial transcript?

Official transcripts are issued in portrait format and contain the seal of the university and the signature of the University Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are available to current students via self-service from the Student Information System.
