The Missouri Property Tax Credit Claim is a program that allows certain senior citizens and 100 percent disabled individuals to apply for a credit based on the real estate taxes or rent they have paid for the year. The credit is for a maximum of $750.00 for renters and $1,100.00 for owners.
Use Form MO-PTC, Property Tax Credit Claim, call (800) 877-6881 or download the form from the Missouri Department of Revenue: Property Tax Credit Claim.
From the State Local section, select Taxes, then MO PTE Income Tax. Check the Electing to become an Affected Business Entity (mandatory for PTE return) box to activate the forms. Enter any Tax Credits in the Credits from Form MO-TC section. If estimated tax was paid enter payments in the 2023 Estimated Tax section.
