2.1 Participants The World Scout Jamboree is an event held for young people. Participants at the World Scout Jamboree should be aged between 14 to 17 years (inclusive).
Who can attend the World Scout Jamboree? Youth Participants must be at least 14 by the first day of the Jamboree, August 1, 2023 and have not turned 18 by the last day of the jamboree, August 12, 2023.
The 24th World Scout Jamboree was held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia from 22 July to 2 August 2019. The hosting duties were split between the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts Canada, and Asociacin de Scouts de Mxico. The theme was Unlock a New World.
What is the age range for joining Scouts BSA? Youth can join a Scout troop who have earned the Arrow of Light rank and are at least 10 years old, or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old.

About the Jamboree Since then, the Jamboree has taken place roughly every four years, bringing 14-17 year olds together from all around the World. Providing an opportunity for young people to share their cultures, learn about the world around them and participate in a variety of activities.
Scouts who are age 14 17 at the time of the Jamboree are eligible to apply as participants. Adults 18+ years old can apply to serve on the International Service Team (IST).
A boy who is a citizen of India and who has completed 10 years but not completed 17 years of age is eligible to become a Scout Aspirant. A Scout Aspirant shall complete Pravesh requirement and will work for three months to the satisfaction of the Scout Master before being invested as a Scout.
