How does grade forgiveness work at CSUF?

Under Grade Forgiveness an adjustment is made to the GPA calculation to remove the effect of the initial grade and include only the repeated grade. Both grades remain listed on the academic record.

Does retaking a class replace the grade CSUF?

Grade Forgiveness units on the students entire CSUF academic record count against the 16-unit limit. An additional 12 units of coursework may be repeated, but without forgiveness. Grades from both the original class and the repeated class will be averaged in the students grade point average (GPA).

How do I change my degree at CSUF?

Access the Major/Minor Change Form. You will be prompted to log in using your CSUF portal credentials. From the left-hand menu, select the section (A) Change Current Major/Concentration To New. Select Change Current Major/Concentration to New Major/Concentration. Your current major will auto-fill.

How do I change my grade at CSUF?
