Introducing Red Fire Farm Farmer Ryan Voiland actually started farming when he was 12, in 1991, in his back yard in Montague. He immediately certified his field as organic with NOFA/Baystate Organic Certifiers, and thus became one of the first certified farms in Massachusetts. Organic is part of our core.
We grow a wide range of certified organic flowers. The farm also offers flowers for weddings and other special events.
Most of the food youll typically find at farmers markets is locally grown, and not all locally grown food is necessarily organic. If something is organic, it means it was grown without using additives - like artificial chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, and genetically modified organisms.
