The 2014 Artistic Rain Barrel Program invites local artists to paint prairie-themed designs on rain barrels to promote community education on the benefits of rainwater management and water quality improvement. The program, a collaboration between the Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center and the City of Lincoln Watershed Management Division, will select 25 artists whose work will be displayed at SouthPointe Pavilions in April 2014. Artists must submit applications by February 7, 2014, and are responsible for their own paint and design interpretation.
