A completed Application for Renewal and a check for the required fee made out to the Arizona Department of Education. The fee is $20 per certificate to be renewed. The application must be submitted via mail or at the Certification Customer Service Counter.
How do I renew my certificate? Log in into your TEAL account to access your educator account, click View My Educator Certification Account to access your ECOS account and complete the online application titled Renew a Standard Certificate and pay the fee.

Renewal: Renewal of a Standard Teaching or Administrative certificate requires proof of 15 clock hours of professional development per year of certification. One semester credit of college coursework is equivalent to 15 clock hours of professional development activities.
