What Youll Need to Renew your Tennessee Driver License TN drivers license number. The last 4 digits of your Social Security number (SSN). Your TN mailing address. A credit/debit card for the $28 renewal fee.
The fee to renew your TN contractors license is $200. There is a grace period of 7 days after your license expires to have your renewal application postmarked. However, there is not a grace period under which you may perform any work as a contractor without a license. You are breaking the law if you do.
You may Apply online at CORE. The renewal is required to be submitted 30 days prior to the expiration date to prevent working with an expired license, as there is NOT a grace period. (After a license has been expired for 3 months, must submit a new license application; less than 3 months, may renew with late fees.)
