The Michigan National Guard State Tuition Assistance Program (MINGSTAP) will pay up to $14,400.00 per year for undergraduate students and $6,000.00 per year for graduate students. The lifetime cap for the program is $86,400.00 for undergraduate students and $25,200.00 for graduate students.
Army National Guard Soldiers on drill status are eligible for Tuition Assistance. institutions tuition and fees are $250 or less per semester hour (or equivalent), the Army will pay 100 percent of the amount charged by the institution for up to 16 semester hours of TA funded courses per fiscal year.
Agree to maintain enrollment of a minimum of three (3) academic units per semester, or the equivalent, at a qualifying institution as defined by California Education Code section 69432(l); Agree to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA); and. Be a resident of California for at least one year.
$26,100 is the 25th percentile. Salaries below this are outliers. $33,600 is the 75th percentile.
All Service members (officers, enlisted) on active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve on active duty (pursuant to U.S. Code Title 10 or Title 32), are authorized to participate in the MilTA program. Reserve Service members on drill status are not eligible for Military Tuition Assistance.
