For starters, the cut score (the score needed to pass the test) of the California bar is 1390 out of 2000, which is 40 points above the national average.
You have three hours to complete each session. The Montana Law Seminar (MLS) occurs on the third day of the Montana bar exam. Attendance of the MLS is a prerequisite to admission to the Montana State Bar. The MLS consists of two, three-hour courses on Montana law.
All applicants must have a JD (juris doctor law degree) at the time of taking the bar exam. Applicants must be of good moral characteras evidenced by certification by the Commission on Character Fitness. Montana does not have reciprocity with any state.
