If you are a former, degree-seeking NAU student who has not been enrolled in any of the last three consecutive terms, you can apply for readmission. Please note that the application for readmission is for undergraduates only.
Readmission is the process of re-enrollment to the university after a student was absent for one or more semesters due to cancellation, withdrawal, dismissal, or other circumstances. In order to be readmitted, a student must submit an application and fulfill specific requirements set by their college.
You will be offered admission to NAU if you have a 2.75 or higher core GPA (based on a 4.0 scale) calculated using the 14 required core courses: four years of high school English. four years of high school math. three years of high school lab science.
Readmission to the college is necessary for formerly matriculated students who have separated from the college. The readmission process must be completed for a student to be matriculated in a degree program. A student dismissed for academic reasons is eligible to apply for readmission one year after the dismissal.
A hospital readmission is when a patient discharged from the hospital is readmitted within a specified time frame. Various time frames have been used, but the most common are 30-day (Medicare definition), 90-day, and 1-year readmissions.

You are considered a readmitted student if you have been away from the University for at least one semester excluding the summer terms.
We recommend that you apply for admission as early as possible, as the US visa application, NAU application, and acceptance process can take four to six months or longer. After we have received all the required documents, we will make an admission decision and tell you within two weeks.
