2. Begin by filling out the 'Mentor Information' section. Enter your name, S.C. Bar Number, firm or office name, address, city/state/zip, phone number, email, and date of admission to the S.C. Bar. If applicable, include your admission details for other jurisdictions.
3. Indicate your S.C. Bar status by selecting 'Active', 'Retired', or 'Inactive'. If you select retired or inactive, provide the relevant date.
4. In the 'Mentor Type' section, check all applicable boxes to specify your mentoring preferences regarding new lawyers.
5. List the names and S.C. Bar Numbers of any new lawyers you agree to mentor in the designated section.
6. Specify your preferred practice areas for mentoring or indicate that you are willing to mentor regardless of practice area.
7. Complete the certification section by signing and dating it. Ensure you print your name and S.C. Bar Number clearly.
8. Once completed, return the application via email to mentors@scbar.org as instructed.
