Zeta Amicae are professional women who have not yet completed their college degree, but have an interest in assisting local Zeta chapters with activities. They chose the Latin name Amicae (Friend) for the auxiliary, which are affiliated through local graduate chapters.
Zeta Beta Zeta Chapter was chartered in the year 1959, becoming the second graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
The Amicae auxiliary provides an opportunity for professional women to be affiliated with Zeta and assist the sorority with providing positive, proactive, and far-docHubing community service, both nationally and internationally.

AUXILIARIES. Our youth auxiliary groups were founded in the 1950s to help at-risk young ladies succeed in life. The group was founded on the sororitys principles of Sisterhood, Service, and Scholarship.
The Zeta Youth Clubs are auxiliaries of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. for young girls and teens between the ages of four (4) and eighteen (18). The Sororitys objectives for youth groups are to develop leadership skills, foster cultural experiences, social interactions, and educational growth.
Sisterhood. With over 125,000 initiated college-educated women, Zeta represents diverse careers ranging from businesswomen, elected officials, educators, doctors, nurses, military, and attorneys. We are mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and friends. Our bond is strong and cannot be broken.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the simple belief that sorority elitism and socializing should not overshadow the real mission for progressive organizations - to address societal mores, ills, prejudices, poverty, and health concerns of the day.
