The Asbestos National Strategic Plan (ANSP) provides a long-term phased approach to eliminate asbestos-related diseases in Australia. Phase one of the ANSP covered 2014 2018, and we are now in the second phase which will end in 2023.
The AMP plan ensures that relevant personnel (including contractors) know about asbestos risks. Training programs cover safe work practices, emergency procedures, and proper handling of ACMs. The plan must be easy for workers to understand.
