A consent request is how an employer asks for a CDL drivers permission to view his or her information in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
The Annual Query can be done as a Full Query or as a Limited Query. A Full Query requires the driver to be registered and log in to their account to provide electronic consent to the Query. A Limited Consent requires the employer to keep a signed paper consent form on file for each driver.
Select a Query Plan Individual query plans are available for purchase. Each query is $1.25.
A query is an electronic check in the Clearinghouse, conducted by an employer or their designated C/TPA, to determine if current or prospective employees are prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions, such as operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), due to unresolved drug and alcohol program violations.
The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that gives employers, the FMCSA, State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs), and State law enforcement personnel real-time information about commercial drivers license (CDL) and commercial learners permit (CLP) holders drug and alcohol program violations.

Click Log In and access the Clearinghouse using your login.gov username and password. Under My Dashboard, go to Queries and click Conduct a Query. Enter the information of the driver you need to query and click Verify Driver Information. Once a drivers CDL information is verified, you will not be able to edit it.
The Queries do not expire and will be visible on a drivers dashboard until the driver addresses it (either provides consent or denies it) or until the employer cancels the request. The employer is credited back the query in their account for a cancelled query.
Visit . Click Log In and access the Clearinghouse using your login.gov username and password. Under My Dashboard, go to Queries and click Conduct a Query. An employer may designate a consortium/third-party administrator (C/TPA) in the Clearinghouse to conduct queries on their behalf.
