The Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana (Certificate of Knowledge of Italian Language), or CELI, is an internationally recognized qualification of the Italian language destined for foreigners wanting to validate their relative Italian fluency, offered by the Universit per Stranieri di Perugia.
A statement written and signed by the person concerned regarding his/her personal status and data to be used in relations with the public administration and agencies and providers of public services. Using a self-certification in relations with a private person is up to ones own discretion.
What is it? The Italian CILS Certification is a qualification issued by the Universit per Stranieri di Siena which demonstrates candidates level of linguistic and communicative competencies in Italian as a foreign language. International House Trust Assessment is an authorised exam centre.
PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri): Offered by the Dante Alighieri Society, another recognized certification. Italian Language Proficiency Test (ILPT): A newer option that may also be considered. Overall, both CILS and CELI are excellent options, so choose based on your specific needs and preferences.
