CPA Exam Credit Extensions All exam credits that were valid on December 31, 2023, are being extended until June 30, 2025. All new exam credits earned in 2024 will be valid for 30 months, replacing the previous timeframe of 18 months.
(b) An applicant must pass the remaining sections within the next 30 months. Should an applicants exam credit be invalidated due to the expiration of 30 months without earning credit on the remaining sections, the applicant remains qualified to take the examination.
Applicants must schedule and take the exam within 180 days of receiving the NTS. Candidates for CPA licensure must pass all four parts of the CPA exam within 30 months to qualify for licensure.
