If you are entitled to undertake any reassessments for modules you have failed, you can choose to either do those reassessments or accept your lesser award. If you are eligible to undertake reassessments, the Exams Team will write to you so you can select what you would like to be reassessed in.
What happens if I fail a module? Where a student has failed an assessment for their module, a resit opportunity is allowed. For a resit, the form of the re-assessment must be equivalent to the original assessment and be approved by the external examiner. The form the reassessment must be made explicit to the student.
You will not be able to progress to the next level if you have failed two or more of your modules. If you have failed just one of your modules you might be able to progress to the next level if the overall mark in that module is 30 or more and there is no other reason why you are not eligible to progress.
