Disability tax credit. This is a non-refundable tax credit that helps people with disabilities, or their supporting family member, reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. Eligible individuals can claim up to $9,872, with an additional $5,758 for those under 18.
The maximum amount of the Canada Disability Benefit will be $200 per month, or $2,400 annually (July to June). The amount someone will receive will depend on their income and the income of their spouse or common-law partner, if they have one.
If you have a Paid Family Leave claim or you are unable to access your information online, you can request a copy of your Form 1099G by calling the EDDs Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at 1-866-333-4606. The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A copy of your Form 1099G will be mailed to you.
