Earn six (6) semester hours of college credit which must include at least one (1) semester hour of college credit in teaching students with disabilities (SWD).
How do I renew my certificate? Log in into your TEAL account to access your educator account, click View My Educator Certification Account to access your ECOS account and complete the online application titled Renew a Standard Certificate and pay the fee.
Twenty (20) inservice points in an approved Florida master inservice program are equivalent to one (1) semester hour of college credit. College level credits must be awarded by an accredited or approved institution (Word), or the American Council on Education (ACE), and must be reflected on an official transcript.
