Renewal: Educators are required to complete 125 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for licensure renewal. There is a temporary hold on this requirement ending 12/31/2023 due to the impact of the pandemic. Educators renewing 1/1/2024 or later will need to complete the appropriate PDUs for renewal.
(a) To qualify for renewal of a license, the applicant must complete 25 Continuing PDUs per year of licensure term, as follows: (A) 75 PDUs during the life of a three (3) year license; and (B) 125 PDUs during the life of a five (5) year license.
