Players and Equipment The players are divided into two teams - two against two, three against three or four against four. They sit alternately - each player seated between two opponents. Standard decks of cards are used, with two jokers in each deck.
A joker cannot be used to move to an empty hole, so if there are no marbles of any color on the main track a joker cannot be played. You must always use the full value of the card played. For a team to win the game, all its marbles must be in their respective home areas.
Played with just one peg, it moves forward. An eight moves a peg backwards only. Joker: Player can take any one of their pegs (either in the staring position or on the board) and replace any other peg on the board, essentially landing on that peg. (See below for what happens when you land on another peg.)
Two Players: use 4 boards and 2 decks of poker cards with the Jokers removed. For every two players, add one deck of cards. Each player chooses five pegs in a unique color. Each two-person team has peg colors or shapes that compliment each other so that others know that they are a team.
