The shelf life of an un- opened bottle of CIDEX OPA Solution is 2 years. The solu- tion requires NO activation. After opening the bottle, pour CIDEX OPA Solution into a CIDEX Solution Tray or appropriate container. If there is still solution left in the bottle, the bottle can be stored up to 75 days.

What is cidex?
CIDEX® OPA Solution is a clear, pale blue liquid with a pH of 7.5. It contains 0.55% ortho-phthalaldehyde in an aqueous base containing buffers,chelating agents and a corrosion inhibitor. It is stable at 15 - 30°C (59 - 86°F) for two years.
