Homestead Exemption. Each owner-occupied primary residence (house or manufactured home) and up to one-acre of land is eligible for a Homestead Exemption. This exemption allows the value of your residence and land up to one-acre be exempted at 50% of the assessed value up to a maximum of $125,000; whichever is less.

Unlimited Exemptions Social security income is generally exempt from creditors. Retirement income, whether from a retirement plan or a qualified retirement account, is fully exempt with no limits. Life insurance proceeds are 100% exempt with no limits. Child support payments cannot be garnished.
Qualifications. Idaho has a Homeowners Property Tax Exemption equal to either 50 percent of the assessed value or up to $125,000, whichever is less, for owner-occupied homes and manufactured homes that are considered the deeded owners primary residence. The exemption applies to your home and up to one acre of land.
