If you are entitled to a refund greater than the amount claimed or allowed on your original tax return, your Schedule X should show only the additional amount due to you. This amount will be refunded separately from the amount allowed on your original tax return.
Schedule H contains a list of prescription-only drugs that can only be sold by a registered medical practitioner. Schedules J, W, X also restrict drugs in some way. The document gives an overview of the various schedules and focuses on Schedule H, providing a list of over 500 drugs that are included in this schedule.
Purpose. If you are an individual filing an amended personal income tax return, use Schedule X to determine any additional amount you owe or refund due to you, and to provide reason(s) for amending.
Schedule X: Schedule X lists addictive drugs (e.g. narcotics, psychotropics) having medicinal uses that must be kept under lock and key. All the regulations of Schedule H apply. The retailer must keep a copy of the prescription for two years.
