The I-94 Card is a document required from non-immigrant visitors entering the United States with a visa. Such non-immigrants are required to complete the Arrival-Departure Record, which is the CBP Form I-94, or the Crewman Landing Permit (CBP Form I-95).
Why do I need an I-94 form?
Form I-94 is the DHS Arrival/Departure Record issued to aliens who are admitted to the U.S., who are adjusting status while in the U.S. or extending their stay, among other things. A CBP officer gen- erally attaches the I-94 to the non-immigrant visi- tors passport upon U.S. entry.
Is I-94 the same as parole?
If CBP authorizes parole for the beneficiary, CBP will issue the parolee a Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record, documenting the length of their parole period.
What is the I-95 form used for?
Description: This two-part carbonized form is used by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to control the movement/ stay of foreign nationals working in any capacity on board a foreign vessel or aircraft arriving in the United States.
