Use Form 8453-CORP to: Authenticate an electronic Form 1120, U.S. Corporation Income Tax Return; Form 1120-F, U.S. Income Tax Return of a Foreign Corporation; or Form 1120-S, U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation. Authorize the electronic return originator (ERO), if any, to transmit via a third-party transmitter.
Taxpayers and electronic return originators (EROs) use this form to send any required paper forms or supporting documentation listed next to the checkboxes on the front of the form. Form 8453 is used solely to transmit the forms listed on the front of the form. Do not send Forms W-2, W-2G, or 1099-R.

Be sure to enter the taxpayers SSN in the space provided on Form 8453. If a joint tax return, list the SSNs in the same order as the first names. Dont attach a payment to Form 8453. Instead, mail it by April 15, 2025, with Form 1040-V to the IRS at the applicable address shown on that form.
A signed Form 8453 authorizes the transmitter to send the return to the IRS. Form 8453 includes the taxpayers declaration under penalties of perjury that the return is true and complete, as well as the taxpayers Consent to Disclosure.
Form 8453 (with the required forms or supporting documents) must be mailed to the IRS within three business days after receiving acknowledgement that the return was accepted. An electronically-transmitted return will not be considered complete until a Form 8453 is received by the IRS.
