The Department of Revenue is a department of the South Carolina state government responsible for the administration of 32 different state taxes in South Carolina. The Department is responsible for licensing and taxing all manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers of alcoholic liquors.
Sales tax is imposed on the sale of goods and certain services in South Carolina. The statewide sales and use tax rate is six percent (6%). Counties may impose an additional one percent (1%) local sales tax if voters in that county approve the tax. Generally, all retail sales are subject to the sales tax.

Step 3: On the Income Tax Return (ITR) Status page, enter your acknowledgement number and a valid mobile number and click Continue.
