Tuition, Fees, Training-Related Expenses Health Insurance NCI will pay 60% of the combined amount requested for tuition and fees, up to $21,000 per year. The NCI provides F30 awardees with two full years of medical school support, regardless of the duration spent in the Ph. D program.
Award Duration The F30 can support up to 6 years of predoctoral research training for dual degree students. This includes any time spent on an institutional T32 training grant. Speak to your graduate program director to determine whether you have been funded on a T32.
Applicants for the F30 must be within 48 months of matriculation into an accredited MD/PhD program at the time of application. NCI requires a clear cancer focus in the research training plan.
