Challenge exams for 195 are offered in Fall and Spring semesters, during the first week of classes only. Those who pass a challenge exam with an 80% or higher may take the exam grade as their final grade in the class. (You must be enrolled in a class to challenge it.) Those who score below 80% must remain in the class.

If you take the Challenge Exam, you will receive four individual grades one for 101, 102, 201, and 202 which you can then accept or discard individually. If you achieve an A, A, A, and B, for example, you can discard the B grade, which will then not be included on your transcript.
Challenge exams are available to students who are able to demonstrate proficiency in the course learning outcomes through prior education or experience but may not have eligible transfer of credit.
Candidates must be active CPA or CA from one of the following qualified accounting bodies: CPA license from any US State Board. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ)
