Proceed to Schedule A, where you will allocate your wage and salary income to New York State. Complete a separate Schedule A for each job, detailing total days worked and nonworking days.
For each job, fill in the total days worked, including any nonworking days such as holidays or sick leave. Calculate the allocated wage by multiplying the appropriate figures as instructed.
Next, move to Schedule B if applicable, marking whether living quarters were maintained in New York State. Provide addresses and the number of days spent in New York.
Finally, complete Schedule C for college tuition deductions. Indicate if you are claimed as a dependent and provide details for each eligible student.
