Esteemed independent concert venue and restaurant, The Crocodile will continue its nearly 30 year legacy as a vital part of Seattles arts and music community in an upgraded, multi-room location in 2021. The Crocodile will keep business in Belltown at 1st and Wall -- formerly El Gaucho.
Theres the 40-foot crocodile skeleton hanging above the floor of the main venue space. And there are the greenrooms, each dedicated to a different decade, the 80s room decorated with records on the wall, a clear glass table and a black leather couch. Not to mention the 17 hotel rooms upstairs.
Being closer has a more home-like effect and that is what this venue has. The crocodile has a 21 and over bar where the adults can get drinks, but they have to be consumed outside the minor section (there is a rope between the minor and adult section, where adults can stand with their drinks).
