Can you receive CRSC and 100% VA disability at the same time?
Can a veteran get both CRSC and VA disability payments? Yes. With CRSC you can receive an amount equal to or less than your length of service retirement pay and your VA disability compensation, if your injury is combat-related.
How far back does CRSC pay go?

Is CRSC a lifetime benefit?
CRSC payments stop on the last day of the month prior to the retirees death. However, the deceased retirees designated beneficiary is entitled to any unpaid CRSC due at the time of death. Retroactive increases to CRSC that was paid during the retirees life also will be issued to the beneficiary.
What is the 6 year rule for CRSC?
Theres a 6-year statute of limitations for CRSC. To be sure you get the full amount of your back payments, you must file your CRSC claim within 6 years of any VA rating decision or the date you become entitled to retired pay, whichever comes first.
