All students with IEPs must receive SDI.
By law, the IEP must include certain information about the child and the educational program designed to meet his or her unique needs. In a nutshell, this information is: Current performance. The IEP must state how the child is currently doing in school (known as present levels of educational performance).
Depending on the circumstance, you can start the amendment process by creating a Notice of IEP Meeting, OR a Waiver of IEP Meeting. A reconvene means that a change will be made to the IEP and a meeting with the parent must be held. Always use the Notice of IEP Meeting. The Date of IEP will not change.
You can propose an amendment to your childs IEP by submitting a written request to the school or IEP team. Its more likely that the IEP team will agree to the changes and amend the IEP if you thoroughly explain the reasons for the proposed amendment and how it would help your child progress.
Delete an IEP Log on to the Special Education view. Click the IEP tab. Select the IEP you need to change the status for, and click Details on the IEPs side-tab. On the Options menu, click Delete. The system confirms you want to delete the IEP. If you do, click OK.

Usually a modification means a change in what is being taught to or expected from the student. Making an assignment easier so the student is not doing the same level of work as other students is an example of a modification. An accommodation is a change that helps a student overcome or work around the disability.
How to write an effective IEP Step 1: Define the learning team. Step 2: Present levels of academic achievement, functional performance, strengths, and needs. Step 3: Set goals. Step 4: Understand accommodations and modifications, and decide how to use them.
Once you click on the CT-SEDS icon, it brings you to the CT-SEDS Documents page. You can choose the section and then a list of students appears. If the student has an active IEP, the CT-SEDS icon will appear under the IEP column. Click on the icon and the IEP will pop up in a new window.
