A Recommendation/Reference (also called a REC or RIF) serves as your introduction to the sorority, so their members can get to know you in advance of primary recruitment in the fall. Letters of recommendation are not required for participation in the recruitment process.
The Recruitment Information Form (RIF) is to be completed by a Chi Omega alumna in good standing for the purpose of recommending an outstanding young woman for membership. A collegiate member may not sign a RIF.

The Letter of Support should be submitted via email to the Chapter's Recruitment Advisor. It should be written in the body of an email, not sent as an attachment. You must have a Chi Omega account in order to submit a RIF. If you don't have one, select the Create an Account tab on the everyday page.
A third-party reference letter is a letter composed by an important adult figure in a PNMs life, such as a coach, mentor, counselor, teacher, religious leader, boss, etc. This reference writer could be affiliated with a Greek Letter organization but does not have to be. They should be someone that knows the PNM well.
