The Graduate School at the University of Kentucky does not require letters of recommendation in application materials sent to the Graduate School. Additionally, the Graduate School does not have any forms for letters of recommendation.

For most academic institutions that require recommendation letters, its expected that students will not be privy to their contents. Traditionally, programs require that faculty submit recommendation letters independently of students or only pass them along to students in sealed, signed envelopes.
It is mandatory that the LOR must be sealed and signed by the lecturer after which it must be put into an official envelope of the college which should also be sealed and stamped with the schools official stamp.
