KeePass has been consistently updated since it began in 2003. It has no servers to upload to, eliminating any chance of a data bdocHub on their part. You dont need to trust KeePass because it knows nothing about you. You can be assured that your data is secure.
If you use a master password, you only have to remember one password or passphrase (which should be good!) to open your database. KeePass features a protection against brute-force and dictionary attacks; see the security help page for details.
KeePass is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way.
Using KeePass, you create an encrypted password database, in which you store your keys (passwords), organised into folders. The database has a strong password (master password) to protect it. Once you enter the database master password, you can then access all your keys and see the passwords unencrypted.
KeePass - Change Password KeePass for KeePass Hub users can change their password by selecting KeePass Hub Password Server Change Password from the menu option.

People also ask

If you dont have access to either your master password or recovery code and cant generate a new code with biometrics, unfortunately, there is no way to recover your account and items stored in your vault. The only option is to do a full account reset so you can create a new Master Password to access your account.
If you forget your KeePass 2.6 master password, there is no way to recover it due to strong encryption. You can start fresh by creating a new database with a new master password. Always back up your database file (. kdbx) securely.
KeePass cons Hard to learn and not user-friendly. No autofill feature included. Auto-Type is a bit clunky. Multi-factor authentication options are separate downloads. Design looks a bit dated. No official mobile app.
