To first get into Raiser's Edge NXT, you'll receive a Welcome email invitation. After you select Confirm email in your invitation, simply sign into Raiser's Edge NXT with your Blackbaud ID. If you already have a Blackbaud ID, enter its email address and password and select Sign in.

What is a Raiser's Edge query?

Answer: Query is a grouping tool in The Raiser's Edge used to group together constituents based on the Criteria you select. Query contains an Output tab from which users can select any fields they wish to include in the Results. However, queries can sometimes have duplicates in their results.

How do you export in Raiser's Edge to an Excel?

Select File, New Export from the menu bar or click New Export in the action bar. On the Create a New Export screen, select the type of export (for example, Constituent, Individual, Organization, or Gift) and export format (for example, Excel 5-7 (XLS), Comma-Separated Values, or Blackbaud Report Writer Database (MDB)).

What is a query list and how is it used by an estimator?

Query List takes the results of an existing query, places them into a list where you can add and remove records, and saves this list for use in other processes throughout The Raiser's Edge, such as in mailings and exports. Query List allows you to "massage" a list of constituents in query results.
