this is a quick tutorial on how to add a background image to your Word document using a Mac first thing were gonna do is add a picture to our Word document choosing picture on your toolbar you can certainly do the photo browser and pick a picture of your own or you can go down to the clipart browser a clip art gallery and just choose a fun image I have a little kitten over here and drag that over to my document and so now I want to actually fade that cat to the background and be able to type something over top of it so what Im going to do is first close out of here I click on the image all of a sudden youll see the format picture icon you click on that you now have some options to manipulate your photo so if Im going to go over to wrap text Im going to choose behind text and thats going to allow me to type over my image Im also going to change the transparency of this particular image Im just going to toggle it until I see something that I like you can go completely transparen
