Watermarking is the process of superimposing a logo or piece of text atop a document or image file, and its an important process when it comes to both the copyright protection and marketing of digital works.
To use LATEX commands in the watermark text, please configure the latter via the \DraftwatermarkOptions command. Trying to do so by passing options to the draftwatermark package via the \usepackage mechanism may fail due to how LATEX parses option strings. Also note that the text may need to be surrounded by braces.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. If you dont see the watermark, click View Print Layout.
On the Design tab, select Watermark Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box.
Add or edit a text watermark On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. Go to Insert. Watermark. In the panel on the right, click Text. Type the text you want to appear as a watermark. Optional: In the panel on the right, you can format your watermark. Click Done.
A watermark is a graphic or word(s) displayed as the background to a written document. Typically, a watermark appears in a light gray, large font, so it can be easily seen by readers of the document, but not so dark that it makes the document difficult to read.
