Local Binary Pattern, also known as LBP, is a simple and grayscale invariant texture descriptor measure for classification. In LBP, a binary code is generated at each pixel by thresholding its neighbourhood pixels to either 0 or 1 based on the value of the centre pixel.
It is a way to describe the local structure of an image in a way that is invariant to changes in illumination. LBP was first introduced in 1994 and has since been used in a wide range of applications, including object recognition, face detection, and texture classification.
With binary, the light is either on or off, with no other possible states. These bits are strung together as different combinations of ones and zeroes, and they form a kind of code. Your computer then rapidly processes this code and translates it into data, telling it what to do.
The binary system is a way of representing data using 0s and 1s. This system is used by computers to represent all the data it works with. To compute a number in this system, you would multiply the digit value by the place value, then add them all together.

Local Binary Pattern (LBP) is an operator used to describe local texture features of images. It has the obvious advantages of rotation invariance and gray invariance. It was first proposed by Ojala et al. for texture feature extraction [49].
Binary code is the most basic form of computer code, consisting of two numbers: 0 and 1. These numbers form the basic layer of all computing systems and are the primary language of digital technologies. Binary code uses combinations of these two numbers to represent numbers, letters, or other types of information.
The binary system is the primary language of computing systems. Inside these systems, a binary number consists of a series of eight bits. This series is known as a byte. In the binary schema, the position of each digit determines its decimal value.
